A full dress rehearsal will be held on Sunday 26th November at Red Bend Catholic College in the Multi Purpose Hall. Entry will be at the side of the hall to the left of the canteen.

The dress rehearsal requires students to be in full costume, hair and makeup and we will do a full run through in concert order (see downloadable pdf). Parents and Students are expected to do their own hair and makeup and a copy of the makeup requirements will be emailed to all families.

Students that are in Beginners Level and above will also be practising the Finale BEFORE the dress rehearsal begins, allowing them to go home as soon as their item/items are over, instead of waiting until the end of the entire show. The FINALE will obviously be at the end of the show at concert time.

TIMETABLE

1:30pm – ALL STUDENTS ARRIVE (Except Tiny Dancers)
Students must arrive dressed in their first costume and with full hair and makeup done.

1:30-2:15pm – FINALE REHEARSAL 2:15pm – TINY DANCERS ARRIVE 2:30pm – DRESS REHEARSAL BEGINS 5:30pm – FINISH

Once we begin at 2:30pm, allow approximately 4 mins per routine to work out what time your child can be picked up. We would appreciate if they are picked up as soon as they have danced as it is a very long day for them otherwise.

THERE IS TO BE NO AUDIENCE AT DRESS REHEARSAL!
Parents are not permitted to watch the dress rehearsal. I am sure you can appreciate that we like to save the surprise for when we have rehearsed our routines.

RBCC has a small foyer to the side of hall and plenty of room to sit and wait outside of the hall.

Once dropped off, students will sit in their class groups and wait to be ushered on to the stage. Tiny Dancers will be accompanied by their student helpers.

Parents can come to the foyer at left side of hall and pick their child up from there, There will be someone at the door who is able to go and collect them for you.

Students must have lunch before they arrive! There is no food or drink (water bottles permitted) to be taken into the hall. We are very lucky to be able to use this wonderful space and must respect the rules of the school.

Allocated Changing areas for dress rehearsal: 15yrs and over – Girls Changeroom/Toilets
11 – 14yrs – Boys Changeroom
10yrs and under – blocked off area at back of hall Boys – Boys Toilets

This will change at concert time as we are able to utilise empty classrooms after school term.
